Scot Facer Proctor has traveled the globe with camera in hand to capture in image and light some of the world’s most sacred sites. The history of Joseph Smith and the restoration lives again in his vivid photographs.

With his wife, Maurine Jensen Proctor, he has written and edited several books including The Revised and Enhanced History of Joseph Smith by His Mother and The Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt, Revised and Enhanced Edition.

For the past fourteen years Scot’s photographs have appeared regularly on the electronic pages of Meridian Magazine, where he is co-founder and publisher.

His temple-dedication photo essays have been viewed by millions of readers.  He and his wife are the parents of 11 children and grandparents to a growing crop.

After spending the past eleven years in Washington, D.C., the Proctors have recently moved to the small village of Alpine, Utah.
